Spring and Summer
While winter gives many visitors their first taste of the Valley, locals say that “people come for the skiing, but stay for the summer.” The days are warm, but never as hot as in the city, and nights cool to the perfect temperature as the last wisps of clouds dissipate and the stars take the sky. Just down the hill from Lincoln Peak Village 18 stunning holes of mountain golf were laid out by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Designed with a remarkable respect for the natural surroundings, this challenging par-72 course is as beautiful as the incredible views from the tee boxes.
At the Sugarbush Tennis School, 6 outdoor and 4 indoor courts give people an ample opportunity to hits the courts anytime of the year. USPTA Pro Michael Smookler directs a complete instruction program including opportunities for private lessons, drills video analysis, game matching, and round robin tournaments.
Every season of the year, the Sugarbush Health & Raquet Club staff works with guests to help achieve their fitness goals whether that’s though yoga classes, cardio workouts, free weights, circuit training, tennis, squash, raquetball, or a session on the climbing wall. The Club is fully appointed with indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, whirlpool, steam room, and massage therapy studios.
For many families the Adventure Day Camp for Kids provides lasting memories for kids, who get to make new friends and explore the Valley, while the parents find adventures on their own.
In the Valley, those possibilities are almost endless with special places around every turn. Come join us to mountain bike, hike, fly fish, explore the Valley in glider, kayak, canoe, stroll a country road, or just sit back and relax.
